 St. Thomas Ontario native Jonathan Russell is living his dream... As far back as Jonathan can remember, he has always been influenced by music. Growing up around a father that continually nutured his musical interests, Jonathan would spend hours with his father pouring over magazines, researching everything to do with music, harps, amps, and the artists that influenced him. "I love all kinds of music; there was always tunes playing in my house growing up. I try to take something from all types of music and incorporate it into not only my blues stuff, but everything I do" Currently, Jonathan is tearing up venues all over Ontario and is threatening to break out across Canada and the United States. Whether it's his raw approach on stage, or his original harmonica playing, one thing is for sure...a night with Jonathan is a night to remember. |
